CEDIA members

CEDIA (the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) is the international trade organisation for companies involved in the planning, design and installation of automated electronic systems for the home. Its mark is a sign of excellence in the custom electronic design and installation industry, and as CEDIA members we meet strict requirements for professional knowledge and high standards of workmanship, integrity and customer service.

ECA Registered Electrical Contractor, and Trustmark accredited

We are a Registered Electrical Contractor within the long-standing Electrical Contractors Association (ECA), and are an accredited ECA Trustmark registered firm. By being awarded these certifications, we guarantee our competence, and commit to conduct our business with reliability and trustworthiness.

NSI Gold accredited, including ISO 9000 Quality Management System

As an NSI (National Security Inspectorate) Gold company, we can offer you a higher level of insurance specification and preferment, while you can be sure that we meet the highest levels of performance and regulatory standards.

SSAIB (Security Systems & Alarms Inspection Board) recognised

Our company has met all of the SSAIB’s criteria for recognition. Compliance with the Board is enforced by an inspection a least once a year, so you know you are working with a company which is dedicated to promoting high standards and ethics in the industry.

Recognised Investor in People - Bronze Award

The Investors’ in People (IIP) scheme is a national standard which sets a level of good practice for improving an organisation’s performance through its employees. The bronze accreditation means that Lewis Building Technology exceeds basic IIP criteria and ensures all its staff are properly trained and receive opportunities and encouragement to further their careers.

CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) Accredited Contractor

This local government initiative recognises us as a company you can trust. Companies qualifying for this scheme are vetted and approved by Trading Standards to ensure that they operate in a legal, honest and fair way, and can be trusted by you to do business with.

Safecontractor approved

Safecontractor is an accreditation scheme that assesses the health and safety competency of contractors and service providers. As you may have a legal obligation to ensure that any contractors working on your premises operate in a safe way, Lewis Building Technology’s Safecontractor status means this is already guaranteed.
